Introduced in 2003, Oyster Card rely on radio frequency identification (RIFD) technology embedded in silicon chips and antennas which transmit information to a receiver, for example in a barrier at a tube station.



But what prevents the State from deploying RIFD technology at the entrance and exit of each building or street.

Is RIFID technology going to be embedded in the proposed ID Card.

Why not write and ask your Member of Parliament if they are going to be following the Japanese example
