As of this week, the European Commission will start to send its proposals for EU laws directly to national parliaments for comment - but it has made clear that it will not review any of its plans if national parliaments dislike them. (EUobserver)

It is expected that Propaganda Commissioner Margot (Goebbels) Wallstrom will symbolically fire off the first e-mail on Wednesday.
