Fakir Off Brown

GORDON Brown has said Gandhi would be his inspiration when he takes over as Prime Minister.

As he continued his visit to India, the Chancellor spoke publicly for the first time about his hopes for the future.

He said Gandhi's "courage and self-belief" would inspire him to make the decisions Britain needs.

Gandhi first employed his ideas of Non-cooperation and peaceful resistance in the Indian community's struggle for civil rights in South Africa. Upon his return to India, he organized the people to protest against oppressive taxation.

Nice one Gordon
.
