No Mate

Today the European Union Commission president José Manuel Barroso made an impassioned plea to Czech president Václav Klaus to sign the Lisbon treaty, as the commission's mandate is due to end on Sunday 31 October.

However, The Czech Republic's Constitutional Court has adjourned until November 3 and will not rule on the challenge to the European Union's Lisbon Treaty before the next EU summit which starts this Thursday.


In the mean time David Cameron continues to make a Cnut of himself.
