No Mandate Mr Rhodes



The turn-out for the police and crime commissioner [PCC] elections in Cumbria was only 16.38 per cent.

The turn-out figure for Carlisle was 14.92 per cent, Copeland 14.21 per cent and Allerdale 16.7 per cent. In Barrow, only 8.37 per cent (4,464 people) took part while South Lakeland had the highest turn-out in the county at 23.78 per cent.

In total, 64,270 Cumbrians voted and of those who turned out 2,014 spoiled their ballot papers
